Backlit with fire both filmed and fueled, he bounded onstage with the unapologetic "Hicktown." Yeah, we got another party anthem but we also got its underbelly seeing the "neighbor's butt crack" as he's "nailing down shingles" while his wife is "smokin' Pall Mall's and watching Laura Ingalls." The song gives enough details to let you know that he knows the rich people are doing it up better somewhere else and that this party is only being brought to you by beer because there was enough money left over to put some gas in the car.Įven the encore, "Dirt Road Anthem," one of the few country-rap songs that doesn't sound like an egregious mistake, has enough details of the downtrodden to make you think Aldean has at least read “The Grapes of Wrath” and has known some grit in his life. That should be a “Jeopardy” category.Īll thoughts of Swindell were soon forgotten (except when he was brought back onstage later) once Aldean took the stage, looking like the last man standing on Lynyrd Skynyrd's “Street Survivors” album cover. But there's gotta be more to country than Things You Can Do in A Silverado. "I'm raising my glass to those savin' our ass overseas," he sang. But it was "You Ain't Worth the Whiskey," where he managed to rag on an ex and salute the troops at the same time. After extolling the virtues of all-day drinking turning into all-night binging while eyeing girls who can get guys with six packs instead of guys who can just about manage 12-ounce curls, Swindell exclaims, "Hey guys these girls just may be out of our league so we might as well keep on drinking!" Why is this man still smiling so much at this glum face-up? George Jones could've squeezed four tearjerking masterpieces out of that one line of exposition.ġ5 best Jason Aldean singles ever (so far anyway)Īnd just when you thought Swindell was going to launch into something other than a tailgate invite, a song where love exists outside of the bed of a truck and one mile of off-road, he launched into a sensitive breakup song. He started out writing these bro anthems for the likes of Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett and Florida Georgia Line before becoming a guy who just sings his own bro anthems, most of which were heard on Saturday, such as "Hey Y'all," "This Is How We Roll" and "Brought to You By Beer." That last one came complete with a yakety coda from Swindell. “The old me before you belongs to the past” – Got What I Gotġ5.Which brings us to grinning galoot opener Cole Swindell, a name that recalls some moustache twirling villain trying to extricate the deed to your ranch but actually turns out to be this aw-shuckster no party animal worth his spitting tobacco could ever take offense to. “Drinking whiskey in a champagne town” – Champagne Townġ4. “Tattoos to remember, tequila to forget” – Tattoos and Tequilaġ3. “Thought we were gone but you’re wrong, now it’s on, we back” – We Backġ2. “That’s the way she was born and raised, she ain’t afraid to stay, country”- She’s Countryġ1. “I’m just doing my thing, you love it when I sing”- Burnin’ It Downġ0. “We got your country boys and your redneck girls, it’s the party heard round the world”- Hicktownĩ. “We talked, and drank, and danced, and said goodbye We laughed until we cried”- Laughed Until We CriedĨ. TL DR: ProPresenter offers more robust video and display capabilities than Proclaim.įor basic and even moderately advanced worship service presentations, both Proclaim and ProPresenter will drastically outperform legacy or office-oriented alternatives. Proclaim, on the other hand, limits you to one stage display, and your ability to display different content on various displays or customize your stage display is limited. Again, the only limits are your hardware. Send one or multiple feeds to various stage displays while you send yet another to lobby announcement kiosks and another to livestream and video displays. ProPresenter also has no limits on the number of independent displays you can use. Proclaim includes support for just one such input, while ProPresenter offers robust support (as many inputs as your hardware can handle). More and more, churches are incorporating live video and camera inputs into their displays (both on-site and online). This is an area where one solution offers much more robust capabilities than the other. TL DR: ProPresenter offers more advanced slide design capabilities than Proclaim.Įdge: ProPresenter Video and Display Capabilities Conditional element visibility (objects like countdown timers can be made visible or invisible based on contextual triggers).Data-driven text boxes (slide text-driven from an external source).ProPresenter also has richer support for advanced text features that Proclaim can’t match, including these: ProPresenter also allows you to add individual transitions for slide objects, allowing for custom build-ins and build-outs. ProPresenter supports custom shapes, gradients, and Bezier curves for slide design. That said, Proclaim’s editor is limited when compared to ProPresenter’s, as you’ll see below. Platforms and Languages Supportedīoth ProPresenter and Proclaim work cross-platform on both Mac and PC. ProPresenter has continued to innovate, adding pro-grade audio and video support as well as the best streaming codec in the industry, new for version 7. But then just under the surface, you’ll find a wealth of professional-grade presentation features. ProPresenter features an intuitive modern interface that anyone can use effectively, even volunteers with little training. It has an incredibly deep feature set that gives you just about anything you could want in a worship service presentation - no matter the size or complexity of your church service and media needs. ProPresenter is standalone modern church presentation software trusted by churches large and small as an intuitive, easy-to-use worship presentation software solution. Actual feature sets for any piece of the bundle can be limited, and that’s the case here. However, as is often the case with suites or bundles, the advantages tend to be in the integrations and the convenience of having a single provider. Proclaim does a good job of syncing service setups remotely, and it’s a reasonably effective option for presentation software for churches. For example, if you’ve created your website through Faithlife, calendar events can be automatically synced into your pre-service announcement slides. In addition to Logos and Proclaim, the Faithlife suite includes website development, app development, and church management/giving solutions.Īs an entire suite, Faithlife does a good job at integration. The Faithlife suite is wide-ranging, seeking to be an almost one-stop shop for all the tech products a church would need. Faithlife is the company behind Logos Bible Software, and in fact, one of the biggest draws to Proclaim is its deep integrations with Logos. Proclaim is the worship presentation software component of the Faithlife suite of church tools. Part 2 will go in to grater detail on buying plans, and how to do the quest that you want to do to get power plans, fighting the scorchbeast queen, and treasure maps. Part 1 will go in to detail about the different power armors and what you will need to do in order to get their plans. This is going to be long so I am sectioning it in to three parts to make it easer to find things. It is also my hope that some of you can also add useful information I am unaware of and make this guide even better.Īlso here is a guide a PS4 player made that goes in to detail about what all of the power mods do. So I wanted to make this guide on everything I know about, where to find power armor plans, which power armors are easiest to get stated on, what power armors are more profitable, where to get junk and flux, how to use your camp to your advantage, what perk cards you will want, how to do all of this cost effectively, and a few other things too. I still see lot of people having those same problems now. When I first started getting in to power armor I found it very hard to find good information on things like, where to find the plans that I wanted, and what kinds of things I would need to make and mod power armor. And I have not left my excavator since lol. It was the first time I felt strong in this game. I love power amor in this game, I have been hooked ever since I made my first suit of level 25 excavator power armor. It is actively maintained, well designed, easy to use, and extremely powerful. Moreover, Alfred is what I recommend over at The Sweet Setup as one of the applications all moderately computer savvy folks should use on their Mac.Īlfred is, without question, a fantastic app. I conducted a detailed survey back in 2011 and another more casual one a few months ago, and the majority response to those surveys was that people use Alfred as their application launcher of choice. I think it’s fair to say that the king of the Application Launcher Market is Alfred. And, in fact, it was this type of shortcoming that actually lead to the development of LaunchBar - the original 3rd-party application launcher. Though the Dock is convenient and ever-present, there are some shortcomings that a dedicated application launcher such as LaunchBar solves. For example: Mail is Shift+Command+M Tweetbot is Alt+Command+T nvALT is Alt+Command+N. And so, in order to instantly activate an application I use a second application, Keyboard Maestro. There are two functions that I consider to be the most important with an application launcher: (a) quickly finding and launching applications, files, and more and (b) instantly activating an application or script with the use of a pre-defined global hotkey.Īlas, LaunchBar, which is this author’s application launcher of choice, does not have global keyboard shortcuts built in. And there is Launchpad, but does anybody use it? Spotlight is also an application launcher. The Dock, for example, is the premier application launcher and it ships with OS X. Though LaunchBar is the original (not including the NeXTSTEP Dock), it’s not the only application launcher available on the Mac today.įor the sake of this article, an application launcher will be defined as any tool on your computer which provides a shortcut to finding and activating files and programs. So where did this idea of an application launcher come from? I’m glad you asked… Other application launchers With Yosemite, Apple has promoted Spotlight to a more front-and-center position, and they are giving it a bit more “power”. They literally learn your behavior by weighting certain search results and findings based on your usage over time, and they can be customized to only index the things you’re interested in accessing so that they act as fast as possible. LaunchBar and Alfred actually become more personalized as you use them. Some use cases for an application launcher include launching apps, launching bookmarks, launching AppleScripts, performing custom searches on various sites, doing quick mathematical calculations, opening files, getting at the recently-opened files within a certain app, accessing the clipboard history, performing actions on files (like grabbing a document and attaching it to an email, or resizing an image), and more.īottom line, what makes an application launcher such a critical tool is that it’s the fastest way launch and act on common apps, documents, bookmarks, and more.īut it doesn’t end there. The whole point is fast launching and fast actions. It should come up instantly when prompted, it should respond instantly, and I should never feel lost or confused when using it. If ever there was an app that needed to be as frictionless as possible, it would be the application launcher. There are plenty of other apps I spend more time in, but none I use more frequently than my application launcher. In 2011 I spent several months using Alfred, and I’ve switched over to it on occasion since then as well to stay abreast of its development. My first application launcher was Quicksilver, but when it farted out on Snow Leopard in 2009 I switched to LaunchBar. I spend about 6 of my working hours at my Mac, which equates to using LaunchBar about once every 10 minutes. On average, I bring up LaunchBar about 40 times per day when I’m working at my computer. Without LaunchBar installed it’s like I’m at a friend’s house, trying to navigate to the kitchen in the middle of the night and I can’t find the light switches and I keep stubbing my toes on the furniture. Whenever I do a clean install of my Mac (which is less often these days), the first application I download is LaunchBar.īecause to me, my application launcher is how I get around my computer. Want to launch an app on your Mac? There is, ahem, an app for that. For the persnickety power-user, there is but one way to navigate around a computer: with the keyboard. Progress on improving social participation can be made by addressing these barriers and facilitating persons with disabilities in their day to day lives. Compare horizontal mobility, vertical mobility. Indeed, during the second 2004 presi dential debate, he cited it as the single most important means of improving mobility and leveling social and economic differences. Social mobility is the link between a persons occupation or income and the occupation or income of their parents. the movement of people in a population, as from place to place, from job to job, or from one social class or level to another. Inaccessible environments create barriers that often hinder the full and effective participation of persons with disabilities in society on an equal basis with others. economic and social mobility in the United States. Over 1 billion people – about 15% of the global population – currently experience disability, and this number is increasing due in part to population ageing and an increase in the prevalence of noncommunicable diseases.ĭisability results from the interaction between individuals with a health condition, such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and depression, with personal and environmental factors including negative attitudes, inaccessible transportation and public buildings, and limited social support.Ī person’s environment has a huge effect on the experience and extent of disability. This movement occurs between layers or tiers in an open system of social stratification. 1 It is a change in social status relative to one's current social location within a given society. Almost everyone will temporarily or permanently experience disability at some point in their life. Social mobility is the movement of individuals, families, households, or other categories of people within or between social strata in a society. input the code 12345 and examine the green hand with the branch of light in your inventory. ride the elevator up, jump across buildings and onto rafters, climb down to an apartment room with a locked door. after the consumer boss fight there is an elevator.
